Name, email address, mobile phone number, and role within the institution (Parent, Teacher, Staff, or Administrator). Accounts are typically created and managed by the school administration.
Academic Content
Homework, notes, assignments, attendance records, and profile images uploaded by the user.
2. Essential Permissions
Camera
Used for capturing profile photos or uploading images when required by the school.
Notifications
Used to deliver school announcements, attendance alerts, homework updates, exam schedules, and fee reminders.
Media Access (Photos & Videos)
Our application may request access to your device's photos and videos to allow you to upload profile pictures, documents, assignments, or other media content. We only access media files when you explicitly choose to upload them. We do not access, store, or share your media without your consent.

4. Account Authentication
Users access SigmaSchool using their registered mobile number and email address. One-time passwords (OTP) may be used to verify identity and ensure secure login.
Third Party Services
SigmaSchool uses trusted third-party services to support certain features of the application. Push notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). These services may collect limited technical information such as device identifiers or notification tokens required for notification delivery.

Security
Data is encrypted during transmission and stored on secure servers using industry-standard security protocols.
5. Data Retention
SigmaSchool retains personal and academic information only as long as necessary to provide educational services and fulfill school administrative requirements.
Users may request deletion of their data by contacting their school administration. Data deletion will be processed upon approval from the school administration. You may also reach us at contact@sigmaschool.in for any data deletion requests.
